Tom spent 26 years in finance markets as one of Sydney’s leading bond and swap brokers. He discovered meditation in the early stages of his career, when the anxiety and chaos he was experiencing had hit a crisis point, and it completely transformed his world, both personally and professionally. Founder of The Stillness Project, a global movement to inspire one billion people to sit in stillness daily, Tom is passionate about reducing stress and chaos in people’s lives. His ongoing work in transformational leadership and cultivating inner peace through meditation takes him around the world hosting retreats, mentoring, presenting keynote talks, teaching and creating The Portal film-book experience, all part of his commitment to the current planetary shift.
Producer / Director
Jacqui is a passionate filmmaker with a commitment to authentic storytelling and a taste for big visions. She has had an extensive career in the film industry as Producer, Director and Line Producer, leading teams from development through to post and visual effects on several feature films. She produced the multi-award-winning dramatic feature, Concealed (2017) and was a key player in such films as Better Watch Out (2016), The Osiris Child (2016) and Infini (2015). While based in Spain, she co-directed the 2012 and 2013 “Dones en Art” (Women and Film) festivals in Spain. For Jacqui, life is work is joy is life—there is no separation, and the former Ibiza DJ brings a philosophy of seamlessness and union to everything she does. What emerges is a unique marrying of sound, words, pictures and heart that moves the soul. The Portal is her directorial debut.
A native of Melbourne, Paul Currie worked his way up through the Australian film industry, earning his first producer credit on the 1995 feature Under the Gun. In 2003, Currie and partner Charles Morton founded Lightstream Entertainment as a film and theatre production company, their first effort, the Australian feature film One Perfect Day, which Currie also directed. Two years later, Currie expanded and relocated the Lightstream operation in Los Angeles, where they began to acquire commercial film properties. His other directorial efforts include Every Heart Beats True: The Jim Stynes Story and the most recent Lightstream thriller, 2:22. Currie is the Producer on One Perfect Day, Every Heart Beats True: The Jim Stynes Story, The Moon & the Sun, and 2:22. Currie is also the Executive Producer on features Rampart and Max Rose. Paul Currie is a producer on the Mel Gibson directed Hacksaw Ridge which was released November 4th 2016.
Over the past 20 years, AACTA and Emmy award winning producer Ellenor Cox has been the driving force behind more than 100 hours of award winning films and television which have collectively screened in 52 festivals worldwide, won 28 International and Domestic industry awards and consistently been 5-star rated box office winners. Ellenor’s passion for embracing innovative producing and distribution methodologies and new media platforms has seen her twice honoured with the Australian Screen Producers Award for Best New Media and Interactive Producer of the Year and at an international level her production company Firelight was the first Australian company to receive the coveted International Digital Emmy Award for Fiction. Most recently, her feature documentary Storm Surfers 3D entered Australia’s top 5 box office documentary list.

David is the principal of entertainment legal firm David Whealy and Associates and is regarded as one of the leading and most experienced entertainment legal practitioners in Australia, possessing over 20+ years entertainment legal experience including senior executive positions with Omnilab Media, Holding Redlich, Beyond, ABC TV and PolyGram. David’s areas of expertise include copyright, trademarks, Australian and international film and television financing, production and chain of title agreements, music, distribution, prints and advertising funding, and sales. David has also executive produced cumulatively over $300 million worth of production in his career and has an extensive list of credits on IMDb having worked with the likes of Robert De Niro and Clive Owen.

Julia has had a long career in the screen and cultural production industry in Australia and internationally across all story-telling genres. Her recent credits include the theatrical documentaries The Last Impresario (London 2013, SFF 2014, Hamptions, Rio, Dubai, Doc NYC and AACTA nominee Best Doc 2015) Red Obsession (Berlin, Tribeca, Pusan, Best Doc 2014, AACTA ) and From the Bottom of the Lake for See-Saw Films (Hot Docs 2014). Julia has been on the board of the Australian International Documentary Conference, where she is now a marketing consultant, is an international advisor for Hot Docs Canada, FIFO Tahit, Doc Edge New Zealand and is national coordinator for INPUT the public broadcast television event.
